Pull the crown out to advance the time. To advance the time, are you turning the crown clockwise? Most fakes will advance the time by turning counter clockwise.

Is that only on Subs? On my two vintage (1962 Air King, and 1984 datejust) the advance by turning counter clockwise.

its great that the people on the forums can spot a fake so easily, but the employers at a jewelry store had to "inspect" it :P

Don't need to see the movement. This is fake from start to end. The huge LEC is a nice touch - they probably just dont have the equipment to make the correct size....
