I am lost. The more I look every watch, the less I know what to buy.

If that's the case then there's no need for another watch.

I have tried on the explorer 2 in white and in black. Tried the GMT2. The GMT2c in TT.

I didn't try on the 1000 gauss and the yachtmaster.

My recommendation would be either the Milgauss or Exp II. But, you GOTTA get what YOU like!

whatever you do, I say you have to try it on and see it with the naked eye.

I really liked the Milgauss. I went and tried it on and didn't like the feel on my wrist.

Go through all the watches at the store... who knows you might fall in love with a non-Rolex product like Panerai.

Once you identified a model you want... shop based on your wishes of buying new or used... then identify a reasonable price for it.

I have both the Milgauss GV and the GMT IIc. They are both unique. I love the function and the accuracy of the GMT and the beautiful glass of the GV. It's all a matter of what looks right and feels right for you.

If your looking for a new rolex, i would go with the newer line... like the date just II.. or deep sea.. i am looking for a day date II for my second watch...

I have the same dilemma--not sure what to buy next. Need one? no I may not "need one" but it still doesn't answer the question (who actually needs one anyway) Problem is that all have their attributes.

I have a Datejust, an Omega Planet Ocean and a Tudor passed on from my Dad plus various and other sundry watches all working but rarely worn.

From my perspective there is no point having any watch that looks almost like another specially in the Rolex family. Sort of lets out the
Sub which I would like. Since I am not happy with the size of the Datejust thinking perhaps the Datejust II or perhaps the Explorer II white face.

One might think more money than brains--actually not much of either
