Thanks, Mark. Nesbit's did a good job with the service and they really did a great job on the bracelet, clasp, case and especially the bezel, which was showing a lot of fine scratches. It looks pretty much like new now. I was very pleased. But there was one problem. When I got the watch back, they said it was running about 2 seconds fast a day, when in reality it was running about 7-8 seconds slow a day.

So, I had to take it back up to Seattle for regulation. It's now running about 3 seconds a day fast, which I can live with. All in all, I'm very happy with the service (even though it took 7 weeks instead of the promised 4) and it's great to have my SMP back in like-new condition!

I would love one of those White GMT Omegas but they stopped making them a few years ago.

The "America's Cup" had a painted dial and was a LE but it did not sell very well. On the other hand, the "non-AC" was not an LE but had applied dial markers and sold out quickly.

NOS "AC" models still show up from time to time but the "non-ACs" are very difficult to come by.

I began my 2254.50 customization with the applied marker dial and then added the WG bezel. The final touch was a display back from Thomas Preik.

Very Nice,

I never noticed the dial so I am going back to have another look at your watch.

Cheers

Thanks John, it is made from new and new-old-stock parts and driven by a pristine calibre 552 from 1967. It is like having a new watch on your wrist. I gave up trying to find an all original genuine vintage SM300!

Beautiful watches. I just made my first Omega purchases and have a Vancouver 2010 and an AT on the way. I have a sneaking suspicion that the orange PO is next.

Call him early Monday and he can put the PO in the same box with the other two.

Here is the Omega watch box I picked up at the Omega Boutique while the Olympics were in my city.

And here are a few shots of the Boutique store inside the Hotel Vancouver.
