Welcome I love your Sub congratulations. The Sub is my favorite watch made by Rolex. If you get the bug you will now have to buy a LV Sub, No date Sub, and maybe the new ceramic Sub.

Thank you for all your kind words - you guys are great and I look forward to the forum.

I debated on waiting for the new Sub design, but I really wanted the last of the classic traditional design which holds an obvious special place historically. In addition the new release will run us another GRAND or so, and let's admit it guys though the new and improved might be sought after by many, there is something to be said about the traditional lines and classic older design that makes the sub a sub!

As I've observed elsewhere, with the new Submariner release this year at Baselworld, we are for the first time in the history of James Bond watches without availability of a current screen-correct Rolex (Timothy Dalton having worn the 16610 in Licence to Kill, 1989).



An even more important piece of history than you might have imagined, eh?
