John, I glad you made the decision to buy one and know you will be happy when it arrives. Now of course I guess this means I'll need to buy one as well(I have secretly been looking at them)since that would be a good direction to go forward in!!!

Well, cut my carotid artery! You did what?! I must see the evidence. Congratulations! (I will probably be vaporized for saying this but they are much more comfortable than MBs and there are many more colors and patterns from which to choose. OMG, I think I see a lightening bolt and it's headed my way . . .)

Many congratulations John, looking forward to seeing the photos and reading your review once it arrives, this part of the forum is dangerous, I too have been looking at the Pelikan fountain pens I have a terramundi pot that I throw pound and 2 pound coins in, it has to be broken before one can retrieve the money, it is my i pad fund and is nearly full, Apple are taking an awful long time to bring those beauties to England, much longer and I will be writing rather than touch screen typing. ![]() Edit: Not sure if the name "Terramundi" is International so I thought I would put a linky in. http://www.homeandgardengifts.co.uk/...-31-14622.aspx

Thanks Dave. I really like the Pelikans, and if I take to this one, I'll probably end up with more. Your pot sounds like your version of our piggy banks!

Dates haven't been given yet Leo, I have heard that the non 3G versions could be released at the end of May, but I have also heard it might not be till the end of June, not to bothered about the 3G versions to tell the truth.

What can I say ....... I am old and my memory is not as good as it used to be. When I checked the nib on my Pelikan, it says 750. Love the pen! Hope you enjoy yours! ![]()

Richard, you can go to Richard Binder's web (http://www.richardspens.com)
and click on the Pelikan logo and scroll all the way down, there is Pelikan dimensional chart that will help you identify your Pelikan. ![]()

Yes, the show starts on Thursday April 29th and ends on Sunday May 2nd. It cost $60.00 to attend for all four days or Saturday and Sunday admittance costs $25.00. I'd like to go on Thursday or Friday but they do not have a price set for either of those days so I guess I'll go on the weekend. And I am looking forward to going and seeing what it's like!!!
