I have always believed my Rolex is safer on my wrist than in a bag on the poolside :cheer

Yes quite a silly question just look in most pools things like ladders and most fixings and fittings are made from S.Steel.

Unlike the ocean, a swimming pool reacts violently wih 904 stainless steel and will cause your Rolex to literally explode, scattering its innards all over the place. Same with showers. 1000 ft ocean depths.....no worries!

Been in the pool, the hot tub, the ocean, the snow, the rain, the hot sunshine, vibrating on a tightly gripped bike handle over rough terrain; and it's JUST a dateJUST and it's still WELL within COSC standards. I love my DJ!

i thought there was some disclosure when u first buy your watch that states how to clean from the ocean, so if rolex approves - greenlight = go.

Swim in it, take it in the hot tub, wear it in the sauna, wear it in the desert, wear it in the arctic, crab fish on the Bering Sea in it ... just enjoy it!

Waterproofing and Rolex Oysters go hand in glove. Why the hell are we even discussing all of this?

Of course I would. You can wear a Rolex in complete confidence, subject to its ratings, just about anywhere. A rolex is in it's element in the water.

As JJ says, why are we discussing the obvious

Side note... I called an independent watch guy seeing about a clear caseback. He was telling me that it affects the "water resistance" of the rolex. I replied yeah I figured it would have an effect on the "water proofness".

He made sure the inform me there is no such thing as a waterproof watch, only water resistant.
