I'm looking forward to see it in real life. And I am also looking forward to see how the caliber performs.

Best,

Not sure about that - sounds like it could be a copy

I saw them in BaselWorld

...and they're pretty damn sweet. My German AD says he should have one of each in by September.

Is this actually a replica of a 70s Tudor? Would anyone have a picture of the "original"?

I'm on the list - just to have a look at least. Not really a chrono guy, and apparently this movement can be high maint, but really like the looks...

Cheers

Third pic down in the OP. The watch in the mirror, where it says "1970"...that's the original with the cyclops over the date at 6:00.

That Tudor does look sweet. I can't wait to see some wrost shots when it becomes available. Certainly cheaper than it's Rolex cousin and a very nice piece to own.

Beautiful watch, I want one ! I wonder what the MSRP will be.
I phoned Monte cristo jewellers in Vancouver and was told the MSRP for the new Tudor Heritage chronograph id $ 4250. Pretty damn expensive for a Tudor. [/I]

I wonder why no cyclops over the date in the new version.

I think that is a cool element of the Rolex/Tudor family and would look great with the placement of the date at the 6...

Does anyone know what the warranty situation is with Tudor?

If I purchase one new in Canada or the UK, but I reside in the U.S., will my warranty be honored? Where would I have to send the watch?

I fully agree with you.

If I'll buy it, I'll start thinking to put the cyclops on the date window ...

Several pics taken from the net (credit goes to oyster).

The 2 Heritage chronos are just dummy watches ...

Ciao
