My girlfriend is a dental student. She has to wear a watch to time her procedures. She wears a $20 digital workout watch with a rubber bracelet to easily clean all the wax, ceramic, clay, and who knows whatever else off of it.
Thanks for the comments everyone! It will arrive today, but not at work, so I'll have to wait until I get home.
Vincent, Yes I do wear my watches to work, but we have to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) that includes long sleeve coats, so with the sleeve and a glove, the watch is completely covered during procedures. Your girlfriend is required to wear PPE also, but maybe when she's doing lab work it is an issue.

Keeping that strap clean might become an issue, in which case I would definitely dye it black!

Mark, what a beautiful watch and the white color is cool. I've always wanted one of the original Pan Am GMT's just for the white dial.....enjoy!!!

That is a WHITE Tudor! I have only seen it in black, and the bezel of yours is supposed to be white too, not only the dial. I am looking forward to some close up pics.

Congrats!

Best,

A

Mark, I be liking the watch but the strap reminds me of the sweat band inside a hard hat, if I were to wear that stap it would be black as my first wife's heart inside 1 day!

Mike, I'm pretty sure I will be dying it black... I already have the leather dye out and ready. I wanted the white dial AND white bezel, but Tudor doesn't give us that option with a black strap.

Don't be too hasty to dye it, Mark. I actually like the white dial/bezel/strap look. Definitely sporty for summer use, racquet club, GC, etc. You have enough watches for more fromal wear that you can splurge a little on a specialized wear watch. before I'd dye the white, I would just get a black strap to swap out and keep both.

Mark, they are drinking champagne & toasting to your health at Rolex Geneve.
Your portrait is going up, next to the Mortgage guy (Adam) in their customers hall of fame.

What do you think, Mark?
I love the font used on the bezel. Love the perforated leather strap and how it fits the case.
I'd like to see a similar black Tudor strap. Bet that would rock.
