Blue. I have watches that can I wear with suits, so my SubC is a purely casual watch. The blue TT subc looks incredible with jeans or casual slacks. Besides which, everyone seems to own the black sub and I like that the blue is so stunningly different. All of this is of course IMO...

Safe with black, for all occasions and resale - like cars.
Mind you I've usually had black faced watches, but I'm really enjoying my White Explorer II. But I'll always drive a black car.

I believe the bluesy is the more popular model but, personally, I would be going for the black one

I have both. I like the deep blue of the old style 16613 for more casual wear. I wear my black 16613 for more formal situations. I am not a fan of the smurfy plastic appearance of the new ceramic blue Subs.

I don't like the new creamy blue ceramic look, but I love my older blue sub.

I don;t understand these posts...
Are you buying this watch because you want to know if other people are going to like it? There's no right or wrong answer, it's what YOU like! It's like someone asks you your favorite color, and you're like, well, let me see what other people like and then I'll make up my mind. Just buy the one you like. |

Agree 100% with EchoBlue
16613 - Blue - no hesitation for me 116613 - Black - with just as little hesitation. |

add me to that. the black is significantly less attractive, in my opinion. the ceramic blue, with all the new adjustments to style make it much more what i wanted in a rolex; i thought the 16613 was too light and did not take the plunge for that reason. when the 116613 came out, i clapped my hands together in joy. then broke out the wallet!
as someone has already said, the black TT is in the same neck of the woods as the Sub-C. Now that is a beautiful piece in ceramic. Hey, they are all great, obviously! |
