There'll be plenty more opportunities, so don't worry.

See you next time.

Well, looks like Beauchamp is doing another Rolex meet and greet on Aug 26. I will be there.

I have the event on my calendar and expect to be there at roughly 5:30 PM.

I enjoyed last years Rolex event.

They promise to have an expanded collection of "the world's finest timepieces."

What could be more tempting.

Well, I don't drink anything stronger than diet Dr. Pepper, but I'd be proud to join in.

Is that before or after Beauchamp's?

There will be another gala tomorrow.

I will be out at the Double Eagle fly-in with my club, so I probably won't be able to make it, but I got some pix tonight that I will post in a bit.

Without further ado, let's take a look at tonight's festivities.

The Cars:

The Crowd:

The Watches:

A customer tries on the WG Submariner Date

A customer shows off his TT DateJust

Yours truly tries on an EverRose Daytona with Ron Beauchamp showing off his own Rolex.

I won't be flying, as I'm not a pilot, but it's possible that one of our members will be giving rides.

I'm new to the forum, but I'm a longtime Rolex fan. My wife and I went to the Beauchamp function last night, and she ended up buying the Lady Datejust 31 in Steel and Everose Gold. We had a fun time and ran into quite a few friends. I fell in love with the 18K white gold Sub with the ceramic blue bezel and blue dial! Here is the watch my wife got.

I was there from 5:30 to about 7:30.

Didn't anyone notice the guy in the flowered shirt with the camera?

We saw you taking pictures, but I just joined this forum today so I didn't make the connection. I was the tall guy with the beard in jeans and flip flops. We were there from 5 to 8 pm.

Cool. I think I do remember you. Oddly, I definitely remember the flip-flops.

For some reason, I was fascinated by the variety of footwear worn by the guests.

I was there last night about 45 min and went today as well. I found it funny you could buy a raffle ticket for 50 bucks to have the "opportunity" to pay full retail price for a SS Daytona!! Hahahaha.

I left after a nice older gentleman brought in a beautiful older YG President with all boxes and papers and the jeweler offered him $3,200!! I'd had enough after seeing that!! I'll stick with TRF!!!

Here's a picture of the card with the details of the drawing. I hadn't noticed that the drawing was for a chance to buy the watch and not to actually win the watch.

I had planned to make a donation, but completely forgot about it in the hoopla.

I still maintain that Beauchamp's is a good dealer and they provide excellent service.

Whether or not that's worth something is up to the individual.

I do admit that that's kind of comical.

Not long after I bought my first Rolex, I was offered the SS Daytona for MSRP, which at the time was less than $10,000, however the watch was as rare as hen's teeth and they were going for a premium on the internet.

I just didn't have the money at the time.
