exactly the reason i hate buying from AD
i only buy from one man. that guy doesn't know as much as i do but he damn well knows close to it :) other than that, the VIP service is shot to hell when they make you lose all respect and service. grey market is getting bigger and bigger |

Fellas, being in retail is tough!! But that is no excuse on the part of the AD, if the salespeople are poorly trained or sloppy in appearance. The owners need to realise that this WILL hurt sales.
I am in the retail environment as well (although sitting in an office ;-). Different industry though, I'm in the automotive related trade. One of the many complaints that we get from customers and also my managers is that expectations are not met. And this goes both ways. But I am a "customer from hell" myself, usually I research the hell out of something I want to buy, be it Blackberry, Palm Treo, Rolex of course, and maybe a BMW. At the end of the day, I need to be comfortable with the AD, especially when I am plonking down a few good Grand of hard earned money. If the AD doesn't know, he should find out and keep me informed. But I shouldn't be a d**k and make life hard for them. Politeness begets politeness, but I can take the business elsewhere. |
