I suppose I should have pressed a little to find out what went wrong, but I was so glad to get the new watch that I never thought to do so. My AD said that RSC Toronto needed a part from the mother house, and that this was probably the first HC they had opened up. My suspicion is that the initial problem was simply a loose hand on the stem........I wonder if perhaps they needed a seal or some similar part that is required to be replaced if you open the watch up.
