Lovely job. Thanks for taking me someplace I'm unlikely to ever be - and for capturing it all so beautifully. Well done!

Looking at it IS indeed grim. IMO these reindeer live a heck of a lot better and more free life than e.g. chicken. Go out there and see how they live, what they eat and do before we kill and eat them. Not to mention cattle or pigs.. Cheers! :-) |

Perhaps I should have thought about the possiblility of some people getting disturbed, but this is normal to me. We learned about this in school. |

Interesting Thread. Brings to mind a couple cultural differences I have recently encountered.
For Instance.... In Mexico it is VERY common to see photos of bloody bullet riddled bodies on the front page of the local newspaper. In the USA... Not so much. Not that we don't have the same scenes here on some of our streets... we just don't post them on the front page. Just the other day I turn on the TV to watch the news and they are showing video from a funeral and proudly show the young persons body in a coffin. Some may not have a problem with that but to be honest I did not like it one bit. Discuss Guns on here, in Canada or the UK, etc and you are flagged as a Cowboy or something similar by a few people. The subject has a way of getting peoples blood going. But here is Texas..... Going out PLINKING is recreational fun for many of us. Some of us teach our children GUN Safety early in life. Its just normal everyday stuff. And although I LOVE meat and fully understand where it comes from I really don't feel comfortable viewing slaughter house photos. Not saying that is what we are seeing here. Just saying these photos approach the edge of my comfort level. Just personal preference. Not saying good or bad. Just different. And the great thing is if I dont like it I can stop looking and move on. Shame most people don't get that. |

Thanks
Thank you for the mini travel log. It's nice to be able to see how the rest of the world live.
I'll be traveling with my GMT IIc to Viet Nam soon and hope to share some photos as well. |
