Yesterday we tried to make a deal on a lady TT DJ with diamond MOP and Anv. TT GMT but the AD could only knock off the tax (8.25% for NorCal), total cost is more than $US 17K. The wife said ok but wasn't very happy with deal so we walked away. I've just gotten a SS Daytona from the same AD last Chrismas so I wasn't too hurry neither.

i am also northern calif, my dealer said he would rather see me wear it than it end up on ebay and then rolex find out, plus i have bought a few, i thought the real reason was more nefarious as in other models coming, and i was very appreciative, but maybe he was just doing me a solid, as we used to say...
