If we take for given at this point that the "gimmick" is to count down the "days til Basel" in the form of bezel numbers, I still wouldn't discount the likelihood that is still going to be a new ceramic bezeled ________. I was just comparing the number font to the new GMT and it is right on. The countdown factor to show the 9, 7, 5 days left, etc.. doesn't mean that it won't be the standard 10, 20, 30, etc bezel (and with the hash marks). As for the GMT guesses, I'm not sure a pepsi bezel would look good on a TT or all gold GMT? Maybe its an all blue bezeled GMT??? I still think its a sub. If it is, I will become a Blues Brother!

When I log on to the Rolex website all I see is the new GMT-II in all gold.

Where the hell do you guys see this new blue bezel?

Steve I've heard from quite a few good sources that they can;t mix colours on a ceramic bezel.. so in future if there were to be a SS GMTII with cermamic bezel the likelhood is that it will be black only.

BTW I can't see the page now on the Rolex homepage.. obviously something to do with my cookies and browser cache...

Andy I read that too somewhere about not being able to mix colours on the ceramic bezel, but Rolex can sometimes change, but I agree with what you say.
Anyway, the gold "9" on the blue bezel seems to have gone (at least for the moment) from the Rolex website.
I noticed that under the GMTII they have got a features section and one page talks about the triple lock crown. The photo and breakdown of the crown, stem, tube is all shown in SS. Now I thought Rolex didn't have any SS crowns for triple lock GMT's?
http://www.rolex.com/en/index.jsp#/e...-winding-crown
It shows a GMTII with triple lock crown and a bezel in SS so yeah, Rolex your not as smart as you thought you were:) hahhaaaa
Damit! I want my new SS GMTII NOW! This darn torturous countdown of days is against the Geneva Convention, very unSwisslike.

yep i've seen the 9 now.. simply a browser cache issue...

As for JJ not being able to see it... it's on the main page - it appears without you having to click anything.. but it is a flash piece so I imagine you'd need teh lastes flash driver installed on your machine.

I'm feeling like the whole thing is just a photoshop.
The water droplets have been changed a bit, but if you look at the gold bezel on the "9" and the gold bezel on the "10" there appears to be an identical droplet on the far left. I don't think this bezel really is indicative of anything except the number of days until Basel commences.

i think that's quite clear now.. not even sure the blue and gold featured has anything to with the products to be launched at Basel - possibly just looks more colourful than using what I thing will be the main new event at Rolex (ie: Black bezel SS GMTII with Green 24hr Hand.
