I chose white just because not many Rolex sport models come with a white dial other than the Explorer II.

Not a great lover of the Daytona but as said before the white dial makes it my choice, as there are not many white dial sports Rolex.

Both are stunning...I think the white is more standout on the wrist..and I'd rather white as all my watches are black dialled ...

BUT I want to add black one day/month/year/decade!!!

White. It is just more unique. Not a lot of Rolexes come in a white dial.

The White dial seems more desirable in the USA but the Black seems more desirable in the UK. I bought the Black dial last week and I had the choice of either, looks stunning when on the wrist!

SS Daytona are too dressy for me. I only wear it on special occasion like formal diner, wedding, or birthday party. Usually I wear black or dark colored suit with bright color shirt. The black SS Daytona matched perfectly!!!

If you search the site you will find that this pole has been conducted about fifty times with the same results....:
some like white, some like Black..they are both great and you cant go wrong... specifically because you can always change the dial later on.....
Get the one which makes you want to empty your bank account...nobody else can choose it for you...
good luck,
pete

It is all a matter of opinion (Your opinion) and a timepiece of this calibre deserves respect in ether colour. If you are lucky enough to buy new compare them side by side to be sure you make the right decision…

I chose BLACK - Its all about the contrast

Black - Is absolutely Stunning… only in the black do you really get to appreciate the stunning gloss of the rings... they jump out and grab you its insane!! just look at the amazing detail in this time piece it is my all time favourite and the only Rolex I will own in white is the Yacht Master II (Yellow Gold)

Ps. This totally based on the latest 2010 new clasp model I have found the older (2000 – 2009) models don’t have the same lustre

heres mine

To add - I tried on the black dial recently when passing through Singapore...and I absolutely loved it. Very strong aesthetically...I went in with my white dial on. Which did I prefer....well the grass is always greener...My white dial got more attention from the AD...his black more from me.

I really do believe I'd have to own both to decide which I "prefer" more...at least that's what I'm telling myself!!!
