Yeah, but the difference between the above mentioned COMEX effort and this one is that the OP was talking about "TRF" gears.... No where in his first post mentioned the word/name "ROLEX"....

Why would Mr. Rolex get upset with a few shirts and hats having TRF logo printed on them.... Unless Rolex owns the naming right to the name "TRF"...

IMO - Stevo would be the one to authorise this TRF gear effort... Or have I over analyised this?

I agree Stevo's call.

I asked him once just to put the logo TRF on some items I was going to give away to members who assisted me. He never responded, so I got the message and moved on.

These was my thoughts exactly. I was looking to promote this forum and the people as a collective that makes this forum interesting and enjoyable; not necessarily the brand. We all have a common interest, love, etc for Rolexes and gather through this forum to dialogue with people who share the same passion. I was thinking of creating some sort of TRF gear that members could enjoy. I have no intentions of pissing off Rolex.

I certainly hope you do. But why would there be a problem printing a TRF logo on say a t-shirt? Do you really think that would make mr Rolex angry?
