You know you are good when you need a button sewn back on.

I had to do that myself the other day, and it ain't as easy as it looks

You are lucky to have such a cool girlfriend

Funny you mention that, I was remarking on the solid button work haha, looks sturdy!

I'm sorry to report, that whilst wearing the watch, I had a bezel/face issue and it had to go back to the service center... On the plus side, I got it back within MINUTES!

However, I'm still waiting on my TT Sub, it's running late sadly, USPS :/

Greetings Johny:) sadly, USPS says tomorrow perhaps.. they say 'We see a delivery date of the 24th...' they said this on the 25th!!!

I did have the option from Ryan to pay more and have it shipped otherwise.. I wish I took it... The lady at the post was rude and short..

I called a different post office and spoke to a nicer guy and he explained to me that it's registered and takes longer, everytime it's moved it's signed for and locked up.. he even told me what it weighed, how much was paid for shipping and that it must be 'valuable'.

He said while it had a date on it they often miss those dates and he was sorry.. he was exceptionally nice.. it made me feel better.

As for the seller of the watch, I have absolute faith in Ryan, it's this blasted USPS.. I guess this is good for me.. I need to work on patience..

I can not wait to post pictures of the TT next to my SS.. I just keep thinking about the horror stories of USPS losing stuff.. lol.. you know?

I won't even mentioning it's starting to snow here.

Thanks for following up though bud. I hope to get it tomorrow at the latest.

Thanks man, I'm trying. Meanwhile I'm relaxing at the office, quiet day, did some remote computer work and sent the guys home early...

Tomorrow it will be.

LOL!

MY ex hated my watch fever.
She was thrilled, however, when I bought her a Baby G-Shock.

I can only imagine what she would've said had she been with me when I bought my GMT!

This is the first girlfriend I've had since my ex wife that actually likes my watch madness. She's seen me meet friends/get business with my limited watch knowledge but great love of them. I'm in Boston a lot and I bump into a lot of WIS folks there.

She egged me on to purchase the TT Sub that is coming.. (Tomorrow.. right?.. come on man..lol) as I told her I always wanted a TT black faced sub with SELs and there it was for sale by Ryan@Capcity! Hehe.

I don't think she likes watches as much as she finds it very cute that I obsess over them.

I recently had a watch incoming via registered mail and there is good news and bad news. First the good news...you will definitely get your watch. Now, the bad news...USPS has the worst tracking system and the slowest delivery times in the world. The web site still shows only an origin scan on the package I received yesterday. It is crazy. If you look on the USPS web site they actually have the following warning under the description of Registered Mail:

"Due to extraordinary security precautions, the delivery length for registered Mail may be 10-14 days. Registered Mail is NOT recommended if speed of delivery is important."

I feel for you man. Not to rub it in, but I have a mint 16600 Sea Dweller coming overnight FedEx and the waiting is already driving me nuts.

I look forward to seeing your pics when your watch arrives.

Thanks man, I saw that written on their site. The confidence of the sending party was high I'd have it in 3 days hehe. I am just now learning how odd that would be if it did arrive that fast. How long did it take you to get your watch?
