These may be perpetual store watches, I doubt they would want to take a chance on a "for sale watch" getting dinged.

I would think so too.

My friend's Dad was a watch maker for Rolex for about 25 years (first Switzerland and then US) and now works for Cartier. Cartier lets him purchase one watch per year at 40% off. He's been with them about 10 years now, so each family member is in a Cartier.

I hope everone who works at Rolex loves the product as much as we do. I also hope that they are entitled to a substantial discount and are able to purchase one to enjoy.

Funny that as MJ was a adidas/Converse man at college level.

I'd say any employees who have been employed for less than a year will have a workplace only watch, afterwards i reckon it's a 40-50% discount.

You know what? I'm going to ask next time I'm in the area, that'll sort it out once and for all!

When I worked at Mont Blanc years ago, it was a 50% discount on all products. Once a year we were allowed to purchase a watch at 75% (or was it 70%?) off.

Maybe he should have worn a suit.

What are the requirements to work at Rolex? I would love to work there. Has anyone ever attempted to get a position at a RSC ?

Just thought i would throw my 2 cents in.

When in college/uni i worked at a high end fashion store on weekends and breaks.

The store policy was after one year of service, you could once a year buy any suit at cost price plus sales tax.

The store i worked for sold Armani, Boss, Canali etc so we got to buy these suits at cost price plus sales tax.

I bet you just like any place where people work at. People start to hate everything about it eventually, very few people like their jobs.

Dare I say it, I bet you some people who work for Rolex actually hate Rolex watches.

What do you get if you work as a teller in a bank?

They give you mini-condoms to put on your fingers to help seperate the bills.

Really, why are people speculating on this? Either you know or you don't. All that answered can't all be correct. right?

I like this comment. Cynical, but I can appreciate it.

I used to work at a company which made some pretty cool high tech PC components. Many folks could have cared less about technology or the role their company played in the world...Just a paycheck.

I bet some folks at Rolex own Breitlings.
