My Datejust is 47 years old and I've worn it daily since 1995 when I bought it. Even then it had signs of daily use. If my Rolex isn't up for daily wear, then I want something else!

Just wear them , but you have to consider that these vintage pieces can not be easily replaced or repaired even if you have it insured properly . I do believe you have to take extra care of those vintage pieces . There is no such thing as "replacement value " like on a BNIB SUB .
