Hello, Welcome to the forum,
If you want an independant Rolex dealer in the UK I would recommend Dane Coleta from Dream Watches. Based in Hants, He is second to none, and the most genuine guy you could wish to deal with. He buys and sells, and you would not be dissapointed with a purchase from him. |

First of all, I'm not a big fan of the DSSD, but I definitely would not select it as my primary watch. The 14060M is much more of a classic, more versatile and better looking IMO. My 2 cents...

Make sure that if you go through a trusted seller outside of Britain that they have experience navigating through Customs. Else, a bill for 20% of the price from your Government for Duty may sour the good deal.
Do try on the DSSD as it is a lot of watch at 180 grams and almost 20mm thick. Definitely not the most comfortable watch Rolex makes. Not sure where Chris works, but he works at a dealer and could put you into the right watch. He would also know lead times. He has a great thread called "Ask and Insider". http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=156634

You are a lucky, lucky man. I would purchase from an authorized retailer and buy the Sub. This watch wears well in all seasons, with all outfits and has always been a classic. Again, you are soooooo lucky!!!
