I've never owned an Exp II but am a real fan. When I needed to buy a couple watches for sons, I bought Exp II's. I like the way the Exp II fits and have felt it was the closest Rolex to fitting my wrist like a Daytona.

I like the styling of the Daytona but won't use the chrono function. I've wondered how an Exp II would look with polished bezel, pcl's, and appropriately polished case. By "appropriately" I mean the correct surfaces on the case.

When I looked at the first couple picture of this watch, I didn't like it. I'm beginning to like it more each time I see it though. I think the orange really stands out nicely.

As for a TT Explorer II, why not.

Oh stop- remember when we first saw pics of the 'Hulk' sub? Loads of people were going on non-stop about how awful it whas and then when some members actually bought it- there were oohs and aahs everywhere.

Had this been an actual Rolex Basel release- I've no doubt more than a few of you guys would be sprinting to your AD's, Plastic/cash in hand.

Yeah. I think those hands are actually from an image render which is why they look fake. As far as proportions and size, I am almost positive they are the MkII LRRP hands.
