While we are at the Milgauss GV topic..

Is it a good time to buy now? I research on the forum that it was selling above MSRP 2-3 years ago.

What is the pricing like now?

They're definitely on an up-swing. Last September I was ablet to buy a complete GV for low-$5000's and now you'd be hard-pressed to find one below $6000. I think days of cheap rolexes are over. Hell, the white Millie has gone up about $1000 or more on the secondary market in the last 6 months! I think people are beginning to realize that it's the closest tribute to the 1019 (with the exception of the 'hand') and snapping them up.

The GV seems to be on the MSRP from the sellers on this forum. What about the ADs? Are they still selling above the MSRP?

Several months ago a retailer told me she sold the first GV that came into her AD for $20,000.

I'm glad I didn't pay that much...

Does crossing a GV with a MILF give a GILF?

In my opinion is the least desireable watch of all Rolex sports models
Ohh..I am sorry...Explorer 1 maybe of lesser interest than the GV

i remember Rob Sacco had one for sale on TRF for about $17k back in the day...

i picked my GV up for £3.7k, it's now a stinking £4.5k give or take a few quid. And after mid April's increase it'll be closer to £5k!!
