I just had one ordered and changed by my dealer. I watched him open the package from Rolex, and inside was the bubble package that your picture show, so based on that I would say its an orignal.

I not sure if this helps but here are 3 types of new bezels I have purchased from a Rolex AD. Could it be that the RF tag was removed?

And I dont think I publicly challenged a TRF sale or seller (he isnt even a regular seller). I intentionally omitted the sellers information, just in case, but if you reread my original post, I was hoping to draw on the vast knowledge of this forum's members to see if RSC had changed their packaging methods. And while a previous poster contended that I should have done more "research" prior to calling something "aftermarket", I stand by my original post and the fact that this forum is probably the best place to find information about random things like, "What does the packaging look like". And to the poster who asked if I am being too critical of the packing...I would submit that you would do the same if you purchased something and it arrived differently than expected. Isnt a finely tuned attention to detail what makes most of us such big fans of these watches? This is getting tiresome. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, thank you to the seller and those who had something constructive to add. To the rest, thanks for reasserting why these types of forums continue to be a vast wastland of people behaving in ways they wouldnt normally act in person. |
