I agree. Thank you Steve.

I love JLC, but the true "watchmaker's watchmaker" would be somebody such as Phillipe Dufour or Laurent Ferrier.

I have the stainless, simple, understated Master Control. It is at or near the top of my DO NOT SELL list.

I am looking at JLC as my first dress watch. Just like my attraction/obsession to Rolex, I believe the brand is a great value for the money. Buying on the grey market seems to be the way to go as they loose 40% on average on the steel models. I don't sell my watches but at the same time I don't care for over paying. I am looking at two models currently Master Control Calender and Ultra Thin 38. Any issues with models ?

Does anyone know of a grey dealer they would trust for sourcing JLC timepieces? Any fellow TRF powersellers deal with JLC? PM if you would like or post here.

Any good JLC forums ?

I am looking forward to owning my first JLC timepiece soon. Thank you to the TRF community for introducing me to this wonderful brand.

Timezone.com has an active JLC forum. Both of your choices are great! I'd prefer the UT 38 as a dress watch though as the Calendar can be a bit bulky.

Capetowndiamond.com can get most JLC models new, and offers good pricing and service. I got my Reverso from them.

+1 on the UT38 ... I've got the fever for an ultra thin watch myself and the JLC's are some of the best. Good value too.

Contact Greg aka Mosco. He has some GREAT connections, is a top notch trusted seller here on the forum.
