The hard water here always leaves spots on my watches. So I dip them in a cup of distilled water before wiping them off with a microfiber towel. Takes 5 seconds and leaves them spot-free. The $1 bottle of water lasts a month.

I used windex on my prescription glasses and it took off the antireflective coating. Does rolex have such a coating, and/or is it on the inside or outside or both? If so, I might jusr stay away from windex....just my 2 cents.

Gutter water and a used McDonalds napkin works great.
For tough spots I'll fill the Jet Dry dispenser in the dishwasher and set it on "Pot Scrubber".
