I'm a southpaw as well. I wear my watch on the left wrist, and wallet in my left pocket. I write left-handed, but play sports right-handed. Go figure.

I've tried to wear my watch on the right, and I think it looks better there for some reason, but I just can't get used to it being there, with nothing on my left.

I'm very right hand dominant. I wear my watch and a signet ring on my left hand, nothing on my right.

I'm a Righty....and wear it on my Right wrist...just feels more comfortable.

Sure my Mili get a little more wear and tear b/c I wear it on my dominant hand (while I write, use a mouse, etc)...but for some odd reason, I'm always aware of it on my wrist so I don't encounter any unnecessary thrashing

My advice--> When trying to decide what wrist to wear your precious timepiece, forget abiding by society's rule of "Non-dominant hand"....just choose what wrist is more comfortable!

Regards, David

Cheers,

You use the mouse with your right hand? I'm a leftie and I have to use the mouse with my left hand. Too uncoordinated to use my right.

I think that the "rule", certainly the custom, is to wear your watch on your non-primary wrist. I have, just recently, seen left handed watches that have the crown on the opposite side of the case (so it is pointing to your fingers when worn on your right wrist).
I don't really see the point of this design other than the novelty of it.
It is so you can operate the crown features with your left hand. The idea used to be that you could wind your watch while wearing it so the crown needed to face your dominant hand(remember that before automatic watches every watch needed to be wound manually). Since 90% of humans are right handed the standard (and logical) practice was to make the crown on the right.

A crown on the left hand side of a wristwatch makes it easier for a southpaw to wind/set the time without taking off the watch if needs be

Because I do more with my right hand I often wear it on the right to insure it gets fully wound.
