Wow, I dunno if I could wear that. I'd probably start bawling at the first scratch.

What a superb example.

Looks fantastic David with chamfers from heaven You're very lucky to have come across such a piece and Ken definitely gave you the right advice.....namely bite Eric's hand off

She would have also been one of the first models to have the then new 93150 bracelet with newer 580 end links which were introduced in the late 70's on the 1680 :

Enjoy her and make sure her days as a safe queen are gone forever

I know the feeling well. I started to get excited when I saw that leather pouch. I knew something special was inside.

I couldn't agree more. Whatever path you choose to enjoy your watches is the best one IMO.

Hey, can't fault ya there - its gold! Gold aren't bang-around tool watches we're used to with vintage Rolex - def need to be a little bit more careful with it! Still rugged otherwise though :)

I know it blows my mind that after 34 years anything could be in this kind of shape. Thank you previous owner!

Wow!!!! That is incredible David. Many congratulations and what a piece of luck...in the right place at the right time, the Gods are smiling on you buddy lol.

A stunning watch and a perfect addition to your very cool collection. I don't know about a skateboard, you could grind a snowboard down those chamfers!

I'm really happy for you mate. Wear in the very best of health (just carefully )

And another thing... how cool are those pouches?!?!!
