DJ's don't get a lot of play here; everyone seems to prefer the sport/tool models. The DJ is, in my opinion, THE most iconic Rolex. Simple and elegant, you can dress it up or dress it down - you can wear it with a suit to with shorts. Everyone should have one in their collection!

TT DJ from '97....hasn't gotten any wrist time for over five years as I'm just not feeling the TT, but, it was a college graduation gift from my parents, so I have an excuse to hold on to it and see if it makes it back on my wrist some day. that being said, if i could snap my fingers and have it be a silver baton dial DJ on a jubilee/SJ (like speed's (bill's) above), it would be a favorite. the DJ is just so classic.

I see the mod coming, Cru

jubilee bracelet (62510H), the dial and hands of your choice, SS or WG bezel and SS crown and off you go !!!!!!!

If you decide, you can sell the old ones and minimize to almost nothing the cost of your mod.

Congrats to your new watch

i like the idea! sounds a tad complicated, sourcing the pieces, selling off the other pieces, finding a jeweler, but, the "guts" of the watch would be the same as the original gift, which would be a nice benefit.
