The only reasons somebody would consider buying through the internet
1. It is not available local
2. It is cheaper
When I am looking to buy a new or used watch I always check my local contacts 1st.

I never said they weren't. You know what got me to post this was that in the few weeks I've been around I have read so many posts where a Newby asks about buying a watch from an AD or someplace other than here only to have many members disregard the OP and try to direct that person to a forum trusted seller. I'm not the smartest guy in the world but I know how to read and respond to someone's question.

So I wrote this post with some colorful language, ie pimp, only to get some of you thinking when you respond to a new member question. All the free publicity you give trusted sellers is out of control.

The OP was not removed from the forum for raising this issue with a seller.

Positive and negative comments/feedback are/and will always be valid and supported as long as they are legitimate and fair.
