I find the price for a Sub-C ridiculous. You can get the new PO chronograph for the same amount as a Sub-C. Three hands vs columnwheel chronograph. Overall same quality. To each his own. |

Omega boutique in Sydney wanted $9K for a Hour Vision watch so Omega are not necessarily cheaper than Omega. Buyers remorse is common after buying expensive items but hopefully the quality will remain after the price is forgotton

Forget the money - you've already spent it. The real question is are you in love with your GV?

Good that you made up your mind.
I have both, a Rolex GMTC II and an Omega SMP, I never have buyers remorse and they complement each other very nice. It is true, they are expensive items and in the opinion of many people I paid too much money for just something to tell me time; however, it does not matter, what matters is what I think and how much I enjoy wearing my watches. Enjoy yours in good health. |

I'm looking forward to my first Rolex very soon, in the next couple of weeks. For me also it will be the biggest "needless" purchase I'll have ever made. But I can't stop thinking about that 116610LN that has my name on it...
I think one of the things to remember is that yes, you can always flip it, and Rolexes seem to hold their value very well. If I get to a point where I change my mind, I can get most of that $7400 back... |

I love watches. If you too love them, sooner or later you will get the real stuff - Rolex. Until then, you will always think, there is something out there magical, iconic, legendary - the Rolex Submariner. I love the Omega PO. But Omega is not Rolex.
