Thx Larry. It's an old Triumph TR6 from the 70's. Sounds and looks great but even with a straight 6, fuel injection and fast road spec engine, it's still pretty pedestrian by today's standards. But a brilliant day out when the sun's shining and turns far more heads than most modern sports cars

I thought I recognized the dash. I had a 59 Mercedes 190sl for a couple of years. It almost made me laugh when I drove it but I got more public response from that car than any I have owned. Kinda like vintage watches, I love the simplicity.

The Good and the Bad

Started with the white one for Mass...putting on the green in about 3 minutes!

The 190sl was a beauty, very thunderbirds in styling and has even been resurrected on the latest versions to a certain extent. I don't use my TR6 that much but just enjoy the occasional day out and it's amazing the attention it gets and you're right, very much like our vintage watches

Actually I believe it came off a newer Daytona (same clasp as the GMTc). I sourced it from a mate in the UK and it completely transforms the watch - incredibly comfortable and well balanced. Most importantly... it now FEELS like an $11k watch.
