the first of many to come and no protective sticker is gonna prevent that

don't worry, it's those battle scars that make it more personal.

my Sub just got it's 1st scratch on the clasp ... i drank 3 shots of tequila and it all went away ... well at least the anxiety

X2

Sorry to hear about this, I know I would not be happy either. As said by others be glad it is the bezelwhich can be replaced and not the case itself.

How long have you had it? Why are the plastic stickers still on it?

It will fade and blend in with the other scratches and bumps it will get. Then they will all be gone after first service.

rub it against your blue jeans a few times, it'll be like new! Time to take the stickers off!

I don't think that Cape Cod will work on those plastic stickers.

Can't see the whole watch, but it looks like you have a strap on it. The nice thing about the bracelet is that it slips over the wrist. Don't know if you dropped yours while trying to fasten it, but I have had a lot of near accidents with watches with straps that don't cooperate, so I prefer to keep the bracelets on, generally.

Wait until service time and they will make it look like new. I'm sure there will be more scratches and dings on the way.

To me this is like covering your furniture in plastic, or putting your Rolex in your safe, and only taking it out to look at every now and then...

Remove the stickers, wear the damn thing.

OMG the stickers!
I rip those off everything I come across that has them. the fronts of people's TV remotes, the backs of electric guitars, anything I see I grab those stickers & rip em off. they are supposed to be removed before use! like when I see those young gentlemen on the subway with the stickers on their ball caps. I feel I should tell them, "good sir, I thought you should know that you seem to have left the manufacturer's sticker on your cap". I also want to lend them my belt, but that's another story.

The stickers are off guys! Calm down. But quick question, I stopped my the local AD and he said that the bezel for the Milgauss is not removable. I looked at him w/ a look of puzzlement and he said that he was not sure. Could anyone give me some clarification about this?

Good good!

The milgauss bezel is not removable at the AD. It will more than likely have to be sent of to RSC for it to be replaced. If you want it done ask your AD to contact the Service Centre.

I know the first time usually hurts the most! :) haha but don't stress out too much.

Take a photo now with the stickers removed?

Don't worry about the ding. Once you get it serviced, the RSC will make your watch look brand new.

Yea bill I was wondering if i could do that. I was like hmmm :-/ could I use the white sofu disc then green, brown, ect.
But then i got to thinking. What if I make it worse and then im really up the creek.
I think i tried to do something like that w/ my moms car and made it 10x worse. Thank god she doesnt care about that sort of stuff.
I would crucify my lab guy if he made it worse, despite the fact that he was my parents lab guy as well as my old boss in highschool.
So...

Good move with the plastics still on the watch.

That way if your watch ever has sex....no chance of disease......

PS...those folks that said the mark might not be too bad under the plastics...they might be right. Good Luck
