Whichever sings to you but(personally)I'd go with the GMTIIc 2-tone.

My friend (30) was working in Dubai and purchased a tt dj, and when he returned to the uk he realised that he had made a BIG mistake. Ok in the arab world but in the uk it looked, how can i put this......tacky.

Have you considered the two tone Sub, either black or blue face?

I really like the TT GMTIIc, but when going to buy one my wife insisted I was too young for a TT, I'm 47 and 3/4 for god's sake

Now I think I made the right choice going with SS, but I still like the TT

Personally I wouldn't say tacky, we all have different tastes. This forum is all about respecting other people choices.

not a big DJII fan (though the blue dial has grown on me), so, if you like gold/TT, go TT GMTIIc. imo, it's the nicest TT out there.

The DJ II is a nice watch in TT, and its nothing to with age either, the GMT IIc is also a belter of a watch also in TT. I bought the TT blue SubC, but it was touch and go that i didnt buy the GMT TT. Try them both on your wrist side by side, you will get a better view of which one to get. It would be the GMT for me.
