Have to go with the White on the 42mm. I actually like the black (and own it) in the Explorer II 40mm watch. I don't like the way the glossy black hands look on the black matted dial on the 42mm.

I examined the white and black side-by-side for a while this afternoon and have decided the white is more legible.

But when, and if, I lay the cash out for the new EXPII, it will still be a tough decision.

Thank you all for the advice - I figured since I have a Black face daytona + AP I would get the white - which i did today - still in the box havent worn it yet but will as soon as I put the AP away - thansk again!
