Is this better? This was taken when my son was eight. It's not often I would let an eight year old handle a fully automatic M-4, but he was under the direct supervision of the owner, a former member of the U.S. Marine's Force Recon with two tours of duty in Viet Nam and also a former L.A. County Sheriff's Deputy, and me. And the gun wasn't loaded.

WTG!

Just a note -- that's not an M4. It's an old M16-A1 pencil barrel carbine. Note the A1 sights and no forward assit. Also, the barrel is not the HBAR type; I assume it's an early issue Colt.

As a coincidence, my 11-year-old did prety well with the two AR's he tried out, but said he likes the .22 better. I remember shooting with my dad at that age, what golden times indeed! Wow, are you guys are right on track!
