[QUOTE=PamFan113;2891539]Hey TRF! I got this as a Xmas present for my Dad the other day. He has been talking about it for around a month now so I went to our local AD on Monday and they had one in the case, told them to box it and here we are :) I can't wait to see his face when he opens this up! He has been eyeing Daytonas since I can remember. My pictures do not do this piece any justice, it is stunning in person.

The best thing...and I mean it most respectively, those are a working man's hands! Or a RICH man who works but either way I like it!!!!

WOW. What are the chances my 9 and 11 year old does the same this year? I did put this one on at John Bull in the Bahamas last week and it is amazing in person. Congrats to you and your father

To the OP - you are a very good son, I aspire to be able to pay back my dad a very small portion of what he's given me by doing the same thing someday soon. Cheers and I hope he wears it in good health.

PS - I'd also love to see a picture with his reaction or perhaps a youtube video of the opening. Its going to be a great moment.

That's a wonderful gift which your dad will cherish. I gave my dad a DD on his previous birthday and it's a better feeling than buying it for myself.

Regards.
