Say nothing, when she notices it, tell her you have had it for six months and have been fuming that she doesn't even notice your new watch, where you are supposed to notice every little detail.
She will feel much to guilty to complain.

I would tell her before you pull the trigger - explain to her that it is something that you really would like to have and that you have an excellent deal set up but you wanted to talk to her about it first - I am sure that she will give you the OK - then why not take her with you and treat her to a nice lunch to remember the occassion.

My wife gets mad when I buy bicycles, she only shakes her head when I buy another watch. Best practice, ask first and often, eventually you can wear them down!

Just buy it first mate.... Then weather the storm, it always passes...eventually. Enjoy it's a fabulous watch.
