I think that a few minutes after is pretty good..

My Omegas take 3 hours to change dates......

Its normal, my DJ snaps its date at 12:02am everytime.

My two subs always changed at about 30 seconds past midnight. Then when one of the subs underwent a face lift, it changed at 3 min past midnight. I really liked the fact that the date used to change so close to midnight, but as others have pointed out, +- 5 min is normal.
