Yes, mine wears a quartz TAG. The battery was dead for a year and he still wore it. Drove me crazy.

Yup. Above me I see g-shocks and free-bie watches. I wear my little collection with no cover-up of any sort...... each one is related to a project or major deal.... it keeps me motivated.

I do have a gentleman working for me with an 18K daytona...... had lunch the other day and found out he's got property in eaglefordshale play with oil wells... so he get's regular mail box money of $500K / quarter.... LOL.... I feel honored he works on my team :) he sure doesn't need the money :) It must be the JOY of working with me everyday.

I have two bosses, one female and one male.

My female boss wears a watch from some jewellery brand (Bulgari or similar), no tradition, no horological interest but just a piece of fashion jewellery to carry a brand name. She does, however, wear a rock the size of a small town, so she beats my white gold wedding band hands down.

My male boss, whom I respect more than almost anyone on earth, wears an Oris. I guess my SD and IWC 371701 trump that.

Oh yeah.

Kind of weird but I got lots of watches that are "better" than my boss's Seiko.

Cool thing is that he has no idea and that seems to be OK with both of us. I'm sure he has some other vice(es) on which he's blowing his disposable income.

Yes. He makes considerably more money than me as well. It only means that I like watches and he could not care less.

My boss doesn't have a watch but she's interested in getting a SMP since she saw mine. I think I'll convincer her to avoid it for the sake of this thread!

Four of us got cussed out once by a Col. wearing his West Point ring at a bar outside base. Funny thing was that "eventually" he learned that those were Rolex watches given to us by the Navy ( he been Army is understandable).

Hehehe, that is where I am at. One of partners has 5 kids with 3 in college and 2 in private school. The other partner has 6 girls all in private school. The other doctor I work with who isn't a partner has 2 kids in private school.

I could buy a few Rolex per year and a new car every year with what they are spending combined with all those kids.

Rescuing dogs is much cheaper than having kids!

Yes and I even purchased a watch for my boss. He owns a few nice Swiss pieces and as a world traveler could really use a GMT to add to his collection. But then he has 3 kids in college.

I am unemployable. Therefore, I don't have a boss. With the purchase of my first rolex recently, a DSSD, I've noticed that I am on par with some of my business associates. Of course there are those who wear Seiko's and Casio's simply because they are not into watches.

He usually doesn't wear a watch, but some time ago I've seen him with a ROLEX Explorer II and before that with an Ulysse Nardin Blue Seal
