I wouldn't have been quite as confident had the watch itself got down to -30, though I suspect it would have been ok...

My point was just that I had worn it from one extreme to another in the length of time it took me to take my boots off and strip.

No problems, however the only thing I was told and kinda makes sense is that high exposure to the chlorine in hot tubs may fade the color somewhat in the colored bezels of watches like the Sub's and explorers So Ive been told !

I went skiing last week, -25°C on the slopes, and when I got home I went straight to the hot tub/sauna/hamam with my GMT 16710. The watch still performs flawlessly.
