I'm hearing two different versions of the actual size of the large links for a 40mm DD. Rolex tells me the large links are 50% (1.5) greater and the books say 25% (1.25) greater. If I had a measurement of the link, I'd know for certain as a regular link is 6mm long. 7.25 = 1.25 or 9mm = 1.5

A regular link is 6mm. How big is the large link? I keep seeing 1.25 and 1.5. If it's 1.25 that would be 7.25mm and if it is 1.5 it would be 9mm.

Sorry gang, my math was off. Is a 1.25 larger link for a 40mm date-date 7.5mm long vs the 6mm for a regular length? I'd appreciate someone measuring one if they have one.

Does Rolex still do these for the DD40? Looking for one in Rose Gold.
My AD is adamant that they dont. |

Unless they changed policy in the past few months, they still do. I recently purchased two 1.5 links for my DD40 in white gold from a local AD in Boston for around $800 a piece. I hope this helps!

1.25 or 1.5? Anyone know if you can buy direct from an RSC or do you need to go through an AD? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

My approach on non adjustable bracelets is to get as close is possible and then just “suck it up” if it’s a bit tight. Not a world class problem I’ve found over 30 years.

True Could do this but for a $39k watch, if one can go from ok comfortable to very comfortable I think it’s worth it (at least would be for me ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

For me I use the adjustment on the sky dweller every day at several intervals. I have a lot of bracelet swelling due to my diet which is intentionally very high calories. And I do not have a problem with president bracelet At all if it ever gets a little loose just slide it up the arm slightly. It moulds to your wrist really nicely.

It is 1.25 unfortunately. Not sure about directly from RSC but worth calling to find out.

You gotta pay to play.
Once you get into full gold pieces the prices can get insane. |

To me it looks like 1.5 and actually looks kinda odd on the bracelet. I dont think my OCD would allow for it. Also with a 40K watch I dont think anyone should be complaining about the cost of a link. If your that worried you can get them discounted on Ebay.
