Give them a ring and see what the deal is. If the watch is sold with a faulty movement it should be covered under their warranty. They should offer to regulate the movement and check amplitude.

I took the watch in to Tourneau. He put it on their counter (I forgot the name of the device) and after about a 10 min wait he came back with the watch. He tells me that it was indeed running slow, so he Degaussed it and was not running at the normal speed. Said it may have been exposed to a magnetic field. My warrant covered it. And would cover servicing.
Now after more than 24 hours the watch has lost only 6 seconds. (one second the first 14 hours) then 5 during today; I used the chronograph, don't know if that matters)
A vast improvement. Is it with in the norm? Should I get it serviced?

-6 or -5 isn't bad for a Speedmaster Pro. Try testing it without the chrono as see what happens. If they are covering a service then I would elect for them to do so. Gluck
