Then how does Rolex know what the original watch looked like when it was made. Some Z's with, some M's without ,seems more like the 'parts bin specials' that Ducati made in the old days. Bit like the Sea Dweller D, Z & M minute markers at 6 oclock. Its about time Rolex got their act together IMO.

Or you'll do what exactly, Eddie? Buy another one?

So the RRRolex stamped inside the watch is the chapter ring, and they are not doing that anymore, so this will/has become a collectors item? Or is it an "option" ?(Sorry if this is a dumb ?)
thanks, gha |

I agree with the earlier posters who said it's barely noticeable. You really have to look for it to see it.

Thank's for clearing that up.....sounds like it's eventually going to be a standard thing. If it's discrete & classy (of course, it's Rolex), sounds great to me. gha

I think the CRB is a great feature. With the serial number of the watch also being part of the CRB (as some have said), it will be great to distinctively differentiate 1 rolex from the other (assuming both are the same model) simply by just looking down at the dial. I'm especially thrilled to see it becoming a standard feature for all Rolex. But thats just my personal preference.

From what info I have been able to gather, only the Z series has this feature. I have yet to hear and/or see any M series with such. This may be a short run for Rolex, which will make the watch a potentially limited transitional type. With the noticeble minor changes that are taking place with the Sub, I suspect a change in design in the near future. Basel is right around the corner. We will just have to wait. |
