They buy gold - lot's of it - but what about complicated watches ?
I guess their idea of a complication is the Sky Dweller at 60k a pop.
Anyway dont let me get started...got to "watch" my blood pressure...
Actually in my opinion it's perfect the way it is. The structure and secrecy of Rolex is part of what keeps it in the frontline in the new and collectors market.

If Rolex would suddenly open its doors, start giving interviews, have "special" Federer DDII model, and the Tiger Deep Sea limited edition watch, for example, it would lose plenty of lure I think.

A solid gold watch including bracelet annual calendar with GMT function for $60k is not bad in my opinion. The competition is much stiffer and most come with a leather band.

I enter with the Pepsi GMT master and the bezel is made of Unobtainium. Giovanni Ribisi will be so happy.

I would love hearing at least one thing you wished for.

PEPSI

Not sure what Tudor might have up their selves but we had a direct quote from Tudor's Davide Cerrato telling us to stay tuned.

Maybe a new Ranger for their Heritage line or perhaps some new color/designs for the THCs. I would wager a Blue Pelagos eventually but doubt we will see that next year. If anyone could pull off a California Dial it would be Tudor as well.

I have no idea what Rolex will do after the release of the Sky Dweller. It's a crap shoot with them and I haven't been overly impressed to say the least. The best modern release they've done was the 216570.

I would be all over a SS sky dweller. I love that watch. A ceramic SS Daytona would be nice.
