As some of you guys know I have been looking for another watch. This really is a beauty though!

My only reservations are whether you guys think its a good enough deal and the scratches on the bezel
IMO, 9.3% isn't a good enough deal on a brand new gold Rolex, let alone one with scratches all over the bezel...

Actually, hearing the dealer is only offering you 9.3% off of something in that condition makes me pretty angry. Jerks...

It's just what I think, so hope you won't be offened Ash
Not at all! I value your opinion 100%. This is what a forum is all about, all of our tastes will never be in unisen with oneanother which is what makes this place interesting and what causes us to buy different brands, and styles of Rolex watches. I have seen the black dial but for some reason I like the gold inner circles... they add a modern twist on a classic, IMO

I wouldn't buy a Rolex from an AD in that condition and for that price, minimum 20% off on a gold Rolex, but hell yes on the model per se, just find a better deal/opportunity.

sports watches are not meant to be gold..
i know people hate when i say this but it doesn't make sense to me
just go for steeeeeel in the daytona
or the day date in all gold... now that is perfect

OH DEAR LORD. I'm getting too excited sitting here. I actually just want to ''YOLO'' this purchase and get it now.

WOW that looks beaut on your wrist

Ahhhh I want a better deal though seeing as many have said AD's can even get up to 20% off. That would make a huge difference on a £23,000 watch

Dude, you can definitely get a WAAYYYYY better deal than what that AD is offering you, hit Dino up and he will point you in the right direction... I am looking forward to your future wrist pic! Congrats in advance! FYI - Outside of a Paul Newman that is the only Daytona model I would consider myself!

Not mine, two other gold pieces (RG JLC Dup and a RG44) have entered my collection since contemplating that very same Daytona you are considering. Was recently trying to broker a deal with another member here on a WG DD1 but haven't heard anything ;-) Oh well!

Have a great weekend over the pond!

That's a great model you feel calling you.

I don't really have any specific knowledge as to whether the deal you've been offered is a good one or not, but I suspect it is made even more tempting by the fact that it's right there in front of you.

My advice would be to take a step back, take your time, shop around, and then make your decision. Buy it on your terms and don't compromise on an impulse.

Maybe this handsome and stylish person you are referring to is on the fence about selling it at all.

Not that I would know. Just sayin'....

If you made your mind up that the YG is for you check out some of the independent AD's for stock, they will more than likely do you a better deal or, if BNIB is not that important go the pre-owned route & grab a bigger bargain
