I would think w/ Omega doing product placement, they'd have the watch monopoly....throw in watches from other members of the Swatch Group.

She was wearing an Omega AT.
I for one thought the Omega product placement was subtle and unnoticeable to most moviegoers. Sony on the other hand... that was obvious.

The Omega shot in the digger was not subtle! Showed the PO face closeup for a long time!!!

i am biased but I like any Bond film (and I know some were questionable at best).
![]() Thought Skyfall was very good and sort of a throwback which was very cool to see how they were able to pull that off.

Saw it yesterday. Liked the homage paid to some earlier films; villain was good, new Q thumbs down, new Moneypenny quite interesting.

Huge bond fan, and everyone freaked me out with their reviews of sky fall... saying it deviated from the path and so forth. Happy to say, I loved it. No, its no casino royale, but Ive already seen that movie, this movie evolved the series, without making it a borne legacy superhero big action, only selling tickets because of the franchise, movie.

I think you will like Skyfall more if you have seen the previous Bond movies given it marks the 50th anniversary of the bond franchise so there are a bunch of old Bond references.

i think skyfall is trying too hard.
i dont like them forcing stuff down people's throats. if they want a dark and edgy bond then. they should have put more henchmen, a more sinister plot, violent action scenes, i hope they come out with a better bond soon. or else i will have to retard to looking forward to expendables series...lol |

I enjoyed the movie as it really tied things in. It was especially amusing that the only weapon left for Bond towards the end was a $24500 Anderson Wheeler 500 Nitro Express Double rifle. I seriously doubt movie goers in the US even recognized it as one hell of a rifle, very badass.
I really liked Ralph Fiennes character. I think the next Bond film will be very interesting, and it will be curious to see how many Daniel Craig is willing to do. |

Did you know the Aston Martin used at the climax of the film (don't want to give any spoilers) was PRINTED? I mean 3-D printed and assembled as 1/3rd miniature? You can read about it here...even though this wasn't a tech-heavy Bond, they lead the way again (is anyone laughing at the invisible car in Die Another Day now that the military is using the same technology?) Reading this link will give a minor spoiler: http://www.autoblog.com/2012/11/15/a...created-by-3d/

I think that the average film watcher doesn't even notice the items in the product placement. Also, Bond has always been a draw for all age groups. If you made it any more violent I think that would take away a part of the audience and take away the up and coming demographic new to the franchise. Have you noticed that even as film becomes more risque and sexual that Bond movies have not had any nude scenes... I watched Argo last night with the Gf. I can tell you that I was the only one in the theater to notice his new style Rolex. Only a select few notice the products.

they should try to keep the entertainment level up by "keeping the wisecracks" "stunts" "action scenes" different age groups would enjoy that. |
