I wouldn't buy off craigslist. I have purchased from a trusted seller here on TRF

You always have to buy the buyer. For expensive watches, you have to be able to check their references and also talk to them on the phone. I may be old school in that way, even though I prefer to do most of my business over email and IM... But for expensive transactions I think a personal connection is essential.

I'd buy on eBay before Craigslist...just my opinion.

Rolex is the most counterfitted watch on the planet. On craigslist it attracts every thug, lowlife, convict, and sleezeball on the planet. I would not buy or sell on craigslist. Just not worth it. There are plenty of trusted sellers on here to buy from.

I just saw a exp polar on CL for 2,500 dollars...Tempting, but it probably comes from problems, fake parts, stolen and overall bad mojo....

A deal isn't a deal if underneath it all it isn't a deal. That make sense? Buy here. I will buy from a member here with one great feedback post over CL any day.

Stay away from Craigslist, I had a buddy that met up to buy something from a guy off CL and he ended up being robbed....Buy one at a dealer or from one of the sellers here.....
To possibly save a few bucks and end up with a fake or worse, is simply not worth it.....
