Old Shot

Photo is a little dated, but it captures the spirit of my collection.

It is past time for a new photo, but at 1 so-so picture out of 1000 gets a bit old for the photography challenged like my self.

Clifton, just take one good pic of each watch on the same background and then photo-chop them together.

Not everyone needs a wide angle lens to do a group shot you bugger.

Have broken out the Daytona yet? Or are you waiting for your "G Shock" protecter case?

Atomic - PhotoShop, me....that is all I need to spend endless amounts of time on.

dman - Daytona is still sealed and living in a bank. I'm giving thoughts to popping the cherry this December; only 1 year and 1 month since purchased. A G Shock protector case would be a good thing though. :-)

Like I told you a long time ago, you bought it and you love it. How you choose to love it is up to you mate, more power to you!! Question, on that December day, do you think it will actually snow in Hell?

Say, Clifton, are you supposed to see a boat or a duck if you stare at that picture long enough?

No, no boat or duck. However, if you stare at the picture long enough you will receive total enlightenment; which is nice.

Funny you should mention that, Clifton - I was just saying that it was a Zen thing in the "Why Rolex?" thread.

Now where have I seen that picture before. Oh, yeah, I appropriated it for my desktop wallpaper. Did I ever thank you for that, Clifton. If I didn't before, I will now. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking.

So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier.

Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga.

So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know."

And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Every time I see that pic, Clifton, I think the same thing: Imagine the havoc a bucket of water could do to that little tableau...

Next time, screw those crowns down buddy, for MY sanity if nothing else!
