I prefer the baton dials, and would love a date on it, but then it would basically be a DJ, no?!

The blue and orange concentric dials are still being made. I physically saw one just recently with a random serial. Gotta be later than 2009

So you have an explanation why it disappeared from Rolex Master catalog in 2010 ...

On my side I think your AD have an "old stock" still for sale.

Here are the last 4 Mcat, AirKing dial lists (you'll remark at this occasion that AK fluted bezel (114234) is discontinued for 2012/2013 too ...)

Rolex likely had the dials left over. I saw, with my own eyes, a random serial blue/orange Arab concentric dial AirKing. What Rolex puts out and what is in the catalog are two different things. Old stock dials get used up but are unavailable for order

I love the AK and that dial. But 34mm is just too small for me.

I proudly wear mine all the time. Personally not a fan of big Rolex watches. I like the classic smaller style of the Oysters.

As I already told you your AD have an old stock AK with a random s/n, still for sale.
Like every year, Mcat 2009/2010 was replaced by Mcat 2010/2011 around september 2010 at which time Random S/N were already present.

Okay well I'm not going to argue with you.
